Message of the Principal
This is an extreme honor and privilege for me to welcome you in Poonch Medical College, located in a valley of lush green hills of Rawalakot, surrounded by long wavy trees resounding melodious sounds of hilly birds where medical knowledge is nurtured to Health Professionals with wisdom covering ethical, social and real healthcare domains. It is the mission of college to guide and impart realization of personal duties towards other human beings and to this noble profession in particular to achieve the best of this world as well as the best of the life hereafter. Our vision is to groom and build the personality and character of Health Professionals, imparting personal responsibility to alleviate the human sufferings with their selfless, evidence-based service and practice with innovative research. I am fortunate to have an experienced eminent faculty who has created an atmosphere to educate the new genre of doctors, training them to highest levels of competence as they are committed to excellence, guiding the professional ethics and enabling their students to serve and lead the medical world. The alumni of Poonch Medical College are real pride of our institute, serving in the entire globe in esteemed positions of their profession.
